Working with orders

The Mobile Waiter is used in the same way as the Dotypos. Working with orders is very quick and easy. The Mobile Waiter supports most cashier operations. Exceptions are [Sell by proxy](prodatvpovereni.md). Mobile Waiter supports working with customer credit through the special products **Redeem Credit** and **Recharge Credit**. For more information about customer credit, see [this chapter](zakaznicky-kredit.md).

# Charging with Mobile Waiter

| [] | On the [main screen](mc-pouzivanimobilnihocisnika.md) [] to add products to an open order. Alternatively, the barcode of the product or customer card can be scanned with the built-in camera using the [] icon and then marked directly on the selected [customer](zakaznik.md). However, this option must be enabled in the [Application Settings](mc-nastavenimobilnihocisnika.md#zobrazeni). By long-tapping on a product, you assign it to the selected [course](sprava-chodu.md), view the stock status, and [allergens](produkt-vs.md#alergeny). If you disable selling under stock in the [product properties](produkt-uprava-pokladna.md), you will not be able to sell the item if it is out of stock.
Once it is finished, click on the bottom bar with the information on the order []. This will get you to the charged items, where you can perform operations with the current order. The icon [] displays the actual [Daily menu](denni-menu.md) and [Recommendation screen](obrazovka-doporuceni.md) with the best-selling products which you can tap to add to order.
If, after registering an item, you press the back button on the bottom panel [], the order will, by default, be parked automatically. You can then find this order in the [overview of open orders](#otevrene_mapa). You can adjust this behavior using the [related settings](nastaveni-zobrazeni-otevrene-ucty.md#tlacitko-zpet) in Dotypos. |

| [] | In the open order overview you can see the items charged. You can now park the order [] to the table of your choice (if you have created a [Table Map](hlavniobrazovkaauctovani.md#mapa_stolu)) or park it without assigning it to a specific table. You can also [split and pay for](#rozdeleni) individual items on your order [separately](#rozdeleni). To do this, use the option [].
By selecting the **Pay** [] option, the available payment methods (according to the [Dotypos settings](platby-platebni-metody.md)) will be displayed. By selecting a payment method, the order will be paid and closed. If you have additional [currencies](platby-meny-a-bankovky.md) active, you will find them among the displayed payment methods. You can split the payment between several payment methods using the **Split payment** button below the payment methods. If only one payment method is available, the payment is completed immediately.
If you tap a selected order item [], it will expand / collapse, and with the **+** / **-** buttons you can change its quantity or remove it from the order. The button with the pencil allows you to enter the quantity [], add a [note](rychleakratkepoznamky.md), set a [discount](jake-jsou-moznosti-slev.md) on the selected item, add [customer points](zakaznik.md), select a [portion](sprava-porci.md), or assign a specific [course](sprava-chodu.md). Always confirm the entered changes with the **Set** button. The icon [] provides access to [additional operations](#moznosti) with the open order.
If the [takeaway sales](prodej-s-sebou.md) option is active in the main cash register settings, then (depending on the preferred settings of this function) a dialog for selecting the sales type **Here / Takeaway** can be displayed before paying the order. Likewise, a dialog for entering the price / quantity / [price levels](cenove-hladiny-pokladna.md) will be displayed if the corresponding [options](produkt-pokladna.md#ceny) are active for the product on the main cash register. |

# Parking a order
Once you have entered some items, you will be able to park the order using the button in the footer labelled **Park**. After tapping this button, the table map is displayed by default. Tap the selected table to park the bill. Alternatively, you can also park a order without assigning it to a table. Tables with existing orders are marked in purple. Use the icon to switch between the table map and the table list views. Mobile Waiter remembers the last view you used.

# Open orders and Table map
From the Mobile Waiter [main screen](mc-pouzivanimobilnihocisnika.md), you can access an overview of open (parked) order and also the Table map. Working with these items is again simple and similar to the philosophy of Dotypos. The open order view can be limited to only orders issued by the currently logged in user (**Only my orders** option in the header). Otherwise, open orders created by other users will also be displayed. As in the Table map, the time since the [last change](nastaveni-mapa-stolu.md) is indicated by a color at the beginning of the lines in the open account overview. You can easily see which table has not been served for a long time by the color (from green to red).

In the list of open orders, you can see all currently parked orders no matter whether they are assigned to a specific table or not. Click on the selected order to activate it and to go back to the [main screen](mc-pracesucty.md#obr1) with products and categories. The order is now active, so use the classic product selection from the tiles to add them to this order again. Use this possibility when guests with an open order ask for extra items.
As soon as you add new items, click on the bottom line with the order information (see the [first picture](#obr1)) and park the order once again or settle it.
The Table Map gives the same options. Click on the selected table to open the order and add items to this table. As [Dotypos app](hlavniobrazovkaauctovani.md#mapa_stolu), a table with an already open account is marked with the color corresponding to the time since the last change. You can easily tell which table has not been open for a long time by its colour (from green to red). Tables are also shown with an indication of an upcoming or ongoing reservation (purple **R**). Use the buttons in the footer to zoom in/out (can also be done with a two-finger gesture) and switch [between pages](nastaveni-mapa-stolu.md#stranky).

# Possibilities of open order
Display the order options by clicking on the icon [] (see [the figure above](#obr2)) beside the open (or parked) order. A dialog will appear with several icons that allow other operations with either the whole order or items in this order. The options displayed depend on the current cash register settings and the properties of the open order.

- By tapping **Note** you can assign a note to the order, which you will then see in the overview of open orders.
- The **Assign customer** button offers created [customer accounts](zakaznik.md) in Dotypos. This way you can assign the current order to a specific customer.
- **Print order statement** prints the current items on the parked order.
- The **Cancel this order** option [voids](stornouctu.md) the entire order.
- With the **Top-up credit** / **Refund credit** buttons you perform operations with [customer credit](zakaznicky-kredit.md) for the selected customer.
- **Provide discount** lets you choose or enter a discount for the entire order in %.
- If you want to pay only part of the order, use the **Split items** button (see [below](#rozdeleni)).
- The **Scan code** option scans a product [barcode](eanpluavazenykod.md) or a [customer](zakaznik.md) using the built‑in camera.
- The **Move all items** button moves the order to the selected table or off table.
- Identical items charged multiple times can be merged into a single item with the corresponding quantity using the** Consolidate same items** button.
- By tapping **New order on table** you open a new empty order on the table previously selected from the [table map](#otevrene_mapa).
- If you want to track the [occupancy / traffic of the venue](mapastolu-dlazdice.md#pocet_hostu), use the **Guests count** button.
- The **Eat in** / **Take away** options are displayed if the [Takeaway sale](prodej-s-sebou.md) feature is enabled in Dotypos.
- **On behalf on sale** allows you to [issue an order on behalf](prodatvpovereni.md) of another entity.

# Splitting orders
The dialog for splitting an order is available on the [screen with an open order](#obr2) or via the button in the [open order menu](#moznosti). You can split items on an order using the buttons **- + **[]** **or by the button **123 **[] , which displays the numeric keypad for entering the quantity of the given item to be paid. The same keypad will also be displayed after tapping the quantity field** **[]. When using the keypad, enter the quantity to split / pay and confirm with the **Split** button.
This way you can easily specify the products that the customer wants to pay for separately. Use the **+** button to add items to be paid and the **-** button to remove them. In the bottom part [] the value of the separated items is displayed, i.e. those designated for payment. Finally, tap the **Pay **[] button and the selected items will be added to a separate order for payment.
You can also park the split items to be paid using the [] button, thus creating a new open order with these items, which you can pay later.
Once you have paid the split items, the original order with the remaining items will still be left to pay. You can park it, pay it, or split it again. You can continue like this until all remaining items on the order have been paid.

# Blocking order adjustments
To prevent order adjustments at two places at the same time (cash register and Mobile Waiter), the order is blocked. The order is blocked when it is active (open) in the cash register or in Mobile Waiter - in the mode of adding items.
If you open a parked order in the cash register or in Mobile Waiter that is active somewhere else, a notification will be displayed and no adjustments to the order will be allowed. To adjust the order further, it is necessary to go where it is open and park it. The picture below shows the notification in Mobile Waiter:

In the touch cash register it looks similar. The order currently being adjusted in Mobile Waiter cannot be open in [parked orders](otevreneucty.md) or from [Table map](nastaveni-mapa-stolu.md):

However, if you select **UNLOCK AND PARK**, the bill will be parked again and you will be able to reopen it to add more items, or to pay and close it. Unlocking and parking a order can only be done from the cash register. It is not possible to unlock an open order for editing at the cash register from the Mobile Waiter.

# Printing from Mobile Waiter
To print receipts directly from the Mobile Waiter, you can use the built-in printer, if the device contains one. Devices with the Mobile Waiter installed can also be paired with a [mobile Bluetooth printer](pripojenibluetoothtiskarny.md), or you can also use a printer connected to the cash register. Once you have paired the printer, you will be able to select it in the [Mobile Waiter settings](mc-nastavenimobilnihocisnika.md#tisk). Printing is therefore done either via the built-in/paired printer from the Mobile Waiter, or via the main cash register's printer.
Order printing is always the responsibility of the main cash register, i.e. the cash register with which the Mobile Waiter is connected. If you have defined a print job for order printing for the printer in the [Dotypos print settings](tisk.md), after paying or parking the bill, the chit will be printed on this printer.
