Simply press the button for approx. 2–3 seconds until the display lights up. (./images/clip1472.png) # Powering off / sleep / restart - To power off, press and hold the power on / off button [![Number 1 in the image](./images/01.png)] and tap the (./images/clip1474.png) **Power off** option in the menu on the device display. - In the same menu you will also find the (./images/clip1475.png) **Restart** option to restart the device, i.e. to switch it off and turn it back on again. - If you press the power button briefly, the device only goes to sleep – the display turns off. Another short press of the button will wake it up. - After powering on, you need to unlock the device using a gesture by swiping your finger up on the display. - It is recommended to restart the device at least once a week. It is also useful to switch it off every time business hours are over. Long-term operation without any restart may slow the device’s responsiveness.
- If the device stops responding, you can restart it by pressing and holding the on/off button for about 6 seconds. However, this should only be done if the device does not respond to any contact for a longer time and cannot be switched off or restarted regularly. | # Touch Buttons The touch buttons are always displayed for a few seconds at the bottom of the screen. To display them again, simply swipe slightly up from the bottom edge of the screen: (./images/clip1310.jpg) The buttons are used for basic navigation: - Tap the [![Number 1 in the image](./images/01.png)] icon to go one step back or to hide the touch keyboard. - The [![Number 2 in the image](./images/02.png)] icon takes you back to the Home screen. - You can view running apps by tapping the [![Number 3 in the image](./images/03.png)] icon.
