Customer display > [HTML Version](zakaznickydisplej-vs.html) You can purchase an additional [Customer Display](zakaznicky-displej.md) for the cash register, which is either another standalone tablet with a special application installed that displays advertising images and videos on the screen, or a tablet mounted on a stand alongside the cash register. When there is an active account on the cash register, besides the images and videos, the display also shows charged items and the total amount. The customer can see what goods are being charged and the total price for their purchase. | | | |------|------| | [![Warning](./images/upozorneni.svg)] | Before setting up the customer display in Dotypos cloud, first activate the **Customer Display** function in the cash register and configure the second tablet that will serve as the customer display. The procedure can be found in [this chapter](zakaznicky-displej.md). | If you have correctly set up the customer display on both the cash register side and on the tablet displaying it, you can proceed to create a playlist and upload media. You will further determine how long and in what order the images are displayed on the customer display. For each cash register, you can create multiple playlists and switch between them or let them all play. The media will play on the customer display connected to the given cash register. We recommend uploading a maximum of 20 files at a time. If you have more media files, upload them in batches of this size. | | | |------|------| | **Supported media formats** | | Image type | jpg, jpeg, png, gif | | Video type | mp4 | | Recommended resolution | 1920 × 1080 px | | Size of a single image file | max. 30 MB | | Size of a single video file | max. 500 MB | [Creating a playlist and uploading media](#vytvoreni) [Media and playlist management](#management) # Creating a playlist and uploading media | | | |------|------| | [![Step 1](./images/1.svg)] | Log in to Dotypos cloud and navigate to the **Customer Display** tab (you can find it by expanding the **...
