Since the beginning of this year, when selling electrical equipment or tires it has been necessary to state the amount of the recycling fee on receipts or invoices. The costs of collection and recycling must be stated as a separate item, clearly and visibly, and separated from the final price of the product. On the tax document for the customer, the last seller should indicate the total price for the particular electrical equipment including the recycling fee, followed by information on the amount of the fee included in the price of the electrical equipment. On price tags in the store and on the internet, the recycling fee must always be included in the total price. The customer is only informed about the amount of the recycling fee that is included in the final price.
How to meet this obligation in Dotypos?
By adding a note about the amount of the recycling fee to the specific product. In the product’s short note, enter for example: (Price including recycling fee: CZK 2.50 incl. VAT). As soon as you sell the product, this note will be printed on the receipt under the product. However, do not forget to enable printing of the short note in the settings of the Receipt print job.
