Powering off / sleep / restart
Powering on
Switch on the device using the power on / off button 
on the left side when looking at the display. Simply press the button for approx. 2–3 seconds until the display lights up.
Powering off / sleep / restart
•To power off, press and hold the power on / off button and tap the 
Power off option in the menu on the device display.
•In the same menu you will also find the 
Restart option to restart the device, i.e. to switch it off and turn it back on again.
•If you press the power button briefly, the device only goes to sleep – the display turns off. Another short press of the button will wake it up.
•After powering on, you need to unlock the device using a gesture by swiping your finger up on the display. After subsequently putting the device to sleep, the lock is no longer active.

•Always turn off the device as described above. •It is recommended to restart the device at least once a week. It is also useful to switch it off every time business hours are over. Long-term operation without any restart may slow the device’s responsiveness. •If the device stops responding, you can restart it by pressing and holding the on/off button for about 6 seconds. However, this should only be done if the device does not respond to any contact for a longer time and cannot be switched off or restarted regularly. |
Touch Buttons
The touch buttons are always displayed for a few seconds at the bottom of the screen. To display them again, simply swipe slightly up from the bottom edge of the screen:
The buttons are used for basic navigation:
•Tap the icon to go one step back or to hide the touch keyboard.
•The 
icon takes you back to the Home screen.
•You can view running apps by tapping the 
icon. You can switch between running apps by tapping them.
