The launch of the new electronic sales registration (EET) is planned for the beginning of 2027. The Dotypos will automatically take care of the technical side of things, without any additional fees or the need to purchase any extra devices. We will provide you with all practical information as it is gradually published by the Ministry of Finance. You will find everything step by step in this manual, on the Dotykačka website, or in our newsletters.
We are actively participating in the current legislative process. Our goal is to push through the simplest possible solution for all businesses required to register their sales. Our comments focus mainly on the possibilities of automating certificate issuance, their bulk management via an API interface, and on clarifying some definitions and technical aspects in detail.

How will I get EET 2.0 into my cash register?The EET 2.0 mode will be added to cash registers as part of the standard update of the Dotypos application, no later than in the last quarter of 2026. If cash register is continuously connected to the internet, it will update automatically. |

Will I have to pay anything?No, every customer receives Dotypos application updates free of charge as part of their license. |

The update that includes the EET 2.0 mode will be supported on cash registers running Android version 5.1 and higher (cash register type DOTPO1411 and higher). However, we recommend replacing cash registers with this system version with current cash register models, as they have reached the end of their life cycle and are already lagging behind in performance. At the same time, their support will end at the end of 2027, which means that after this date it will no longer be possible to install any further updates of the cash register applications on these devices. |
