A tag can be assigned to each product in the cash register. The tag is text information that can be used to determine whether the order (ticket) in the kitchen should be printed out when selling a specific product etc. Detailed information about tags can be found in this chapter.

You can manage the tags directly in the touch cash register or using Dotypos Cloud. To manage tags in Dotypos Cloud, go to the item Item management » Products and in the page header switch using the button 01 to display the tags. New tags can be created in the product preferences. All tags for the products you create will be displayed in this list.


Use the buttons 02 to export the displayed tags to Excel or the text format .csv. Use the button Import 03 to allow the import of tags to the cash register batch import. The preferences for individual tags are accessible by clicking on the button 04. Use the button 05 to delete the tag.

You can change the name and external ID of the tag. The external ID can be used as an internal identification for the tag. To save the changes, click to Save button.
