Another option is a full-featured 10" cash register that functions as a customer display on a separate stand. The advantage of this solution is that it communicates with the cash register via a wireless network, so you can place the display wherever you need it. In addition, this form of customer display can also be used temporarily as a replacement till should the original till break down. A 10" cash register that functions as a customer display always requires the installation of a special Customer Display application that displays promotional images and videos on the display.
If the cash register account is active, the display also shows the items charged and the total amount to be paid. The customer can therefore see what items are being charged and the amount they will be paying.
Customer display settings
To activate the customer display directly connected by a special cable to the 15" cash register, simply go to this setting in the Dotypos app and turn on the display.
The installation and configuration of the customer display connected via the network is described in the next chapter.
•The display of the touch cash register is protected by a transparent film to prevent damage during transport. Be sure to remove this film before use. •Do not connect any devices other than printers, barcode scanners or scales to the Cash register's USB ports. Also, the customer display must be powered by its own adapter. Otherwise, the cash register may jam or damage the motherboard! |
