Dotypos Cloud lets you generate sheets of price tags with individual products, prices and bar codes. You can print these price tags and paste them to products. The price tags can also be printed on the standard printer for receipts directly from the cash register. The instructions for this can be found in this chapter. Price tags are primarily adapted for borderless printing.

Tip

Apart from the procedure below, price tags can also be generated directly from the stock-up list. Simply use the Price tags button in the stock-up list. All products from the selected stock-up are automatically added to the price tag printing list.

How do I print product price tag sheets?

Step 1

In the item Item management » Products in the top right corner click on Price tags Number 1 in the image .

Click the field Number 1 in the image to open the dialog for adding products and add the products you want to print price tags for. In the dialog, you can search by product name, date of modification or EAN code. The displayed and searched products can be limited in the dialog header to a selected category or tag and then added in bulk. Click the icon Letter A in the image to add products to the price tag printing list by scanning their bar code with a bar code reader. In section Number 2 in the image , select the data to be shown on the price tags and whether each price tag should be framed (option Print frame). From the drop-down menu, select the preferred bar code type to be printed and the price tag size.

Step 3

For each product, enter the number of price tags in the corresponding field Number 3 in the image Number of copies and finally click on the button Create Number 4 in the image to generate the price tag sheet in PDF format. Print the document (e.g. on self-adhesive paper), cut out the price tags and stick them onto the products.

Note

To print bar codes with prices, each product must have defined in its properties a numeric EAN or PLU code. The bar codes will then be automatically generated from these numeric codes along with the prices. Prices can also include the price per unit/package. This is defined in product properties.
