Every time you are closing the cash register , the printer for orders can print a sales overview for the specific shift, the so-called Z-report. To print the Z-report, in the settings of the corresponding printing task activate the option Automatically print ZReport. All the data in the Z-report relates to the operations performed while the cash register is open until it is closed.
The Z-report is identical to the data you find in the Sales overview. You can also print the Z-report or email it anytime from there. If you want the Z-report to be sent automatically by email after closing the cash register, go to the Application settings and set this option in the item Email Summary Reports.
Which items can I find in the printed Zreport?
You can define the items in the Z-report. In the Application settings go to the menu Print and adjust the corresponding printing task - enable items to be specified in the Z-report. An example of the Z-report is shown below.
Register opening |
The amount entered by the operator when opening the cash register. This value represents the total cash balance when the cash register is opened. You will also find the date and time the cash register was opened and the name of the user who opened the cash register. |
Register closure |
The amount that the operator entered when closing the cash register. This value represents the total cash balance at cash register closing. You will also find the date and time the cash register was closed and the name of the user who closed the cash register. |
Surplus / Deficiency |
The difference in the cash that should be in the cash register and the cash that was entered by the operator when the cash register was closed. The following cash transactions are taken into account when calculating the shortfall: cash issued, cash received, cash deposits and cash withdrawals. |
Transaction |
A summary of all cash register transactions made (sales, cancellations, cash receipts and cash in/out). |
Receipts |
Summary and amount of paid/unpaid or cancelled receipts. |
Revenue |
Sum of sales and number of sales broken down by payment method (cash, credit card, vouchers...). |
VAT breakdown |
Breakdown of the total amounts with the different VAT rates. |
Discounts provided |
Summary and amount of discounts granted. |
Cash in/out |
Summary of one-off cash cash in/out operations. |
Accounts |
Amounts for open and unpaid orders with the number of each receipt. |
Sales |
Items sold displayed by standard category. Click on the arrow in the header to change the view according to the selected option (by product, by label, by employee...). |
Profit |
Calculated profit based on the difference between purchase and sales prices. Click on the arrow in the header to change the view according to the selected option (by product, by label, by employee...). If the profit is to be a relevant data, it is necessary to have correctly filled in purchase prices for all sales products. (Example: If you buy a keg of beer for 1000 CZK, one beer will cost 10 CZK, the correct purchase price of one pint of beer will be 10 CZK.) |
